Sourdough Discard Waffles
10 ounces all-purpose flour 1 cup sourdough discard 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons baking powder 3 Tablespoons Sugar 14 ounces milk (just under 2 cups) 2 large eggs 3 Tablespoons coconut oil or melted butter 1 teaspoon salt Preheat a waffle iron. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Cook according to waffle iron instructions. We sometimes add cinnamon or chocolate chips or a mashed banana to the batter. If planning to freeze, pop them immediately on a rack in the freezer individually and allow to freeze completely before stacking or placing in a bag.
